Renovated red brick Cincinnati house with rebuilt brick porch, new roof, dormer siding and concrete walk

General Contractor in Cincinnati, Built on Masonry

One written contract and one number to call, with Swiss-trained masons on every wall we touch.

One contractor for the whole house

Old Cincinnati houses rarely have just one problem: the porch sags, the box gutter leaks into the cornice, and the city mailed a notice about the parapet. We take the whole list under one contract and fix it in the right order.

How we run a job

Mason setting red brick in fresh mortar while rebuilding a porch column on an older brick house

The owner prices it

Adriel Moore walks every job himself and won’t write a price until he’s found the cause.

Outside first

Plaster fails on a wet wall, so we fix the roof, gutters and brick first.

Our own masons

We lay every brick ourselves. Licensed partners handle electrical, plumbing and HVAC under their own permits.

Everything in writing

Line-item scope and a written contract. Any change gets priced before the work does.

Porch & Foundation

★★★★★

“We inherited a historic home with a failing stone foundation. Swiss Masonry worked with our structural engineer and the city’s historic preservation office without us having to babysit a single conversation. They know how to work with old buildings. Highly recommend.”

Hiring a general contractor in Cincinnati

What does a general contractor do on a house project?

A general contractor runs the whole job under one contract: scope, price, permits, the order the trades work in, and cleanup. At Swiss Masonry the owner prices every job after seeing it, and our own masons do the masonry.

Do you do electrical, plumbing and HVAC yourselves?

No. Swiss Masonry schedules licensed electricians, plumbers and HVAC partners, who pull their own permits and pass inspection before the walls are closed.

Do you work in Northern Kentucky and Indiana?

Yes. Swiss Masonry works within about 50 miles of Cincinnati, including Northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana, and checks each city’s permit rules before work starts.
